Though it's not especially original, Clowntown does rise a notch above the usual hillbillies with weapons trope through pretty decent acting among the four leads, and a couple of fairly tense situations. The acting from the supporting players is atrocious, naturally, but do you really watch this kind of movie for its thespians?
